FAQ

Are Martial Arts for me?

Judo is an incredibly inclusive sport and features categories in both the Olympics and Paralympics. We fight our own weight, age and sex categories so there is an opponent for all shapes and sizes.

How much does it cost?

Our Monthly packages start at £40 per month.

What do I need to bring?

For a trial session is you wear jogging bottoms and a plain t-shirt (no zips, buttons or buckles please), we’ll kit you out with a jacket and belt.

Also remember that any long hair should be tied back, and to bring a drink of water, judo is hard work.

What happens after the free trial?

If you enjoyed your trial then we will invite you to sign up to the monthly package.

We also offer Beginner packages, with all the equipment you’ll need to get you started.  Speak to one of the team for more information.

How many students do you have?

We are currently close to 200 members and are having to add on extra nights to cope with the demand for judo in Rushden and the surrounding areas.

What makes you different?

We are a friendly community club, who aim to serve the whole club.  The ethos of judo is that we can mutually benefit each other by all working hard together to be better and that is what we aim to do.
